Ariadne (Size 16)
A corset made from several different upcycled textiles in tones of gold brocade - every panel is a different fabric (except for the center back pair which are matching).
This piece came about as I had many small offcuts of beautiful golden brocades; none of them enough to make a full corset, but each enough to cut a panel or two. So, this truly one of a kind corset came into being! The interplay of so many different golden hues gives an air of luxuriant richness, imitating the garb of a byzantine queen.
This piece laces up through brass eyelets at the center back. The gold lacing was dyed to complement the hues in the garment.
Available in: Size 16
