The Boatswain Partlet
A partlet of ultramarine blue cotton drill, trimmed smartly with cream braid and golden brass hardware. This piece was inspired by the partlets of the Tudor era (which are essentially large, detached collars, secured loosely under the arms by a lace-up tie). The lining, exterior and trimmings of this partlet are made from upcycled fabric. A small pearlescent button fastens the center front at the neck (button is also upcycled). Lacings are un-dyed natural cotton.
Perfect paired with the Boatswain corset and silk voile chemise (as pictured in some images).
